About Joshua
Joshua Wahls founded Insurance By Heroes in 2019 in Pasadena, Maryland. He built the agency around a simple idea: people should be able to compare real options and understand the tradeoffs before anyone pressures them to buy.
His public-service career spans local law enforcement, the Department of Defense, and the IRS, where he served as the life insurance and annuities subject-matter expert for the Mid-Atlantic region. His family served too: he is a former active-duty military spouse.
Joshua holds an MBA from Western Governors University, where his capstone earned a performance award, and a B.A. in Social Sciences from Thomas Edison State University. His insurance expertise has been quoted in AOL, Business Insider, TechBullion, and other publications.
